Item Establishing the Innopharma Education Library(An Leabharlann, 2022-03) O'Connor. ColmInnopharma Education is an Irish owned education, research and technology institute with a focus on the pharmaceutical, MedTech and food industries. Established in 2010 as part of the Innopharma Group, over the past decade the College has become one of the top institutions serving these sectors in Ireland through strategic collaborations with partners. In cooperation with Griffith College and Technological University Dublin (formerly ITT Dublin), Innopharma Education has developed and delivered QQI validated and recognised qualifications, ranging from NFQ Level 6 Certificates to NFQ Level 9 Master of Science awards. Innopharma Education currently has approximately 1500 students enrolled on its programmes. In October 2020, Innopharma Education achieved success in Stage 1 of QQI’s Initial Access to Programme Validation process, gaining approval of its institutional capacity and quality assurance procedures. Subsequently, the College had its initial programme of education and training validated in September 2021, which is an NFQ Level 6 Higher Certificate in Process Digitisation. In between these events, in March 2021, a librarian was appointed to the College staff to establish a library service that would serve staff and students across its programmes. This framework includes a suite of tools and practices designed to educate and support students in maintaining academic integrity throughout their academic journey. This article will delve into the various initiatives undertaken by Innopharma Education to promote academic integrity, including the induction process, asynchronous resources, referencing guides, practical referencing activities, and the Academic Integrity Committee’s role in addressing academic misconduct.
